Sonder
[Sohn-dher] noun
The realization that each passerby has a life as complex as your own, filled with their own ambitions, hopes, routines, and worries.
The quality of our lives in shaped by the quality of our conversations.
The conversations we have with ourselves and with others shape how we see our challenges, our potential and what’s possible.
Change rarely begins with having all the answers. More often, it begins with one conversation that helps you see things differently.
Sonder Coaching is a different kind of conversation. One that helps you find clarity, confident and a way forward.
Perhaps one of these conversations is already happening in your mind ….
You don’t need to have it all figured out before you get here.
That's where we start.
Hey, I’m Amy.
I've spent my career working with people who are capable, thoughtful and used to figuring things out. People who are often the ones others turn to.
But sometimes, even capable people reach a point where their usual ways of coping, deciding or performing aren't working anymore.
I know what it feels like to have life change in ways you didn't expect.
When my young son experienced a serious accident, our family went from ordinary life to a long period of uncertainty, hospital stays and recovery. It changed the way I understood resilience, identity and what it means to move forward when life is no longer what you thought it would be.
It also made me curious about what helps people move forward after life changes in ways they never expected. That curiosity led me to study a Master of Science in Coaching Psychology at the University of Sydney.
Before moving into coaching, I spent 15 years working in corporate HR, supporting people through change, challenge and high-performance environments. Today, I bring those experiences together in my coaching.
I don't believe people always need advice. Sometimes they need space to make sense of what has happened, understand what has changed and work out what comes next.
My role isn't to tell you what to do. It's to help you make sense of where you are, work out what you actually want, and find a way forward that feels like yours.

The life you've built doesn't feel quite like the life you want to be living.
You may be questioning your career, direction or priorities. You may feel stuck, despite having built a life that looks successful from the outside. Or perhaps you're trying to find your way after an experience that has changed you.
Coaching can help you make sense of where you are now, what has changed and what you want from the next chapter.
Becoming a parent has changed more than you expected.
You may be trying to find your place within this new version of your life. You may feel like you've lost parts of yourself in the demands of parenthood. Or perhaps you're trying to work out how to bring parenthood, work and the other parts of who you are together.
Coaching can help you make sense of what has changed, reconnect with what matters to you and work out how to move forward as the person—and parent—you are now.
You know what you're capable of. The challenge is accessing it when it matters most.
You may be preparing for a high-stakes exam, interview, presentation or competition. You may find that pressure, self-doubt or perfectionism get in the way of performing at your best. Or perhaps you're achieving a lot, but questioning how long you can sustain it at this pace.
Coaching can help you navigate pressure, understand what gets in the way of your best performance and build a more sustainable relationship with achievement.
If something here feels familiar, we can start with a conversation
You don't need to know exactly what you need or whether coaching is the right next step. We can talk about what's going on and whether I might be the right person to help.
